Most mortgage companies and lenders will require that the well water undergo a bacterial test (Coliform Bacteria). This is a very standard test for houses that have a well for the drinking water. A well or its water that fails the water test can be treated to provide a good water sample.
We will work with you and your agent if the water fails for bacteria.
Additional water testing is usually required for FHA and VA Loans and we do this water testing as well. (We also do FHA Termite Inspections.)
Other testing of well water can be done at the buyer's request. Additional water tests may include:
